Hello 👋 I am Cristien.

I am a Frontend Engineer based in Southport, a coastal town that's only an hour away from Liverpool. I currently work at SearchPilot, an SEO A/B testing company.

I love design and have an interest in how design plays a vital role in creating meaningful and accesible interface and experience for the users. I am curious and always want to make the web a better experience for everyone.

Previously a Research Lab Scientist at University of Liverpool and Cancer Research UK working on various projects on Perinatal Women's Health, Infectious Diseases and Cancer. I have thoroughly enjoyed my roles in Science as it involved a lot of hypothesis, research, experiments planning and data analysis.

In my spare time, you can find me hanging out with my husband and my son. I am a big fan of Formula 1 and Korean drama. I also have recently picked up new hobbies of writing poems, crafting with macrame and air dry clay, and digital crafting.
